This is a handmade wooden cup ("kuksa" in Finnish) from Kuksa Parooni in Enontekiö, who has been making handicrafts from wood for over 40 years.

The cup has been made from the burl of a birch tree, which has grown in the Enontekiö region. A truly local item.

The cup has a diameter of ca. 9cm. The handle is made from two parts, and attached is a leather strap. The handle is decorated with a piece of reindeer antler. Hidden under the handle is the artist's signature.
